OFA- HD (Hip Dysplasia)

Upfront, we care deeply about the health of our dogs and the puppies we produce. We would never breed a dog who presents with HD.

OFA certification in itself is extremely difficult on a dog and resulting damage from anesthesia or inexperienced technician can be more devastating than the condition itself. We support our decision to forgo testing hips and elbows. However, we will continue to test for ALL Genetic abnormalities and if a genetic marker is identified for HD we would certainly include it.
